From Codependency to
Confidence

Own your truth. Guard your heart. Reclaim your life.

Change does not always lead to healing, but healing always leads to change.

Many people seek personal growth and change, but struggle to find it. That’s where True Pathways comes in. Educational courses, community support, personal coaching, and therapeutic counseling are integrated to help you:

The goal is not to replace existing therapy if you’re already working with a therapist, but to provide additional resources where education, community, and coaching work together with your existing counseling for deeper transformation. If you’re not currently working with a therapist, this program can provide trauma-focused therapy alongside these other practical tools for healing attachment wounds, rebuilding self-trust, and creating healthy relationships. Whether through individual counseling, personal coaching, or small-group courses, True Pathways provides structured guidance and compassionate support needed to help you untangle unhealthy codependent patterns and build the life you deserve.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, we’d love to support you.

From Chaos to Clarity

Jacquie is a licensed professional counselor, relationship educator, and codependency recovery coach dedicated to helping people break free from toxic relationship patterns. Her journey into this work is deeply personal. She openly shares her personal experience of overcoming codependency and managing her husband’s alcoholism. Married for 20 years, she candidly discusses their near-divorce, her controlling behavior, and the transformative journey through an intensive outpatient program. By learning about her own trauma and focusing on boundaries and self-care, she helped herself and eventually her husband to seek the help they needed. Her story is one of pain, survival, and ultimately, transformation—underscoring the importance of self-discovery and the power of personal growth in improving relationships.

From Healing to Hope

True recovery wasn’t just about abstinence from a substance—it was about healing their family. Jacquie and her husband, John, committed to a two-year process of healing and transformation. It required faith in a Higher Power, relationship education, community support, and trauma counseling. They confronted painful truths and overcame three major intruders in their marriage— alcohol addiction, deep-seated rage, and family of origin enmeshment. Today, their story of resilience, personal growth, and determination offers hope to couples and families who feel stuck in cycles of dysfunction. Whether addiction is present or not, the principles of recovery can transform relationships and break generational patterns.

From Pain to Purpose

Jacquie’s healing journey led her to create True Pathways, a space where the tools and resources she once desperately needed are now available to others. While her approach is especially beneficial for those impacted by addiction, it’s designed for anyone trapped in unhealthy relational patterns. Combining lived experience with professional expertise, she understands the importance of fostering trust and understanding through shared experiences in building trust in helping others on their paths to codependency recovery. Her husband, John, now a master’s-level addiction counselor, joins her in this mission when his flying schedule as a pilot allows. Married since 2003, they’ve raised two thriving young adults, Jack and Grace, alongside their beloved Pomeranian, Cosmo.
